Kathi Martelle

Director of Athletics

Kathi Martelle brings a wealth of experience to Linden Hall’s athletic program, both as a former Division I athlete and an accomplished coach. A native of Millersville, PA, Kathi was a standout field hockey and lacrosse player in the Lancaster-Lebanon League, winning a state championship in field hockey in 2008.

She continued her athletic career at Providence College, competing in the Big East Conference while earning a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Education in counseling. Her passion for coaching led her back to Providence as an assistant field hockey coach, a role she held for five years before moving to Virginia Commonwealth University. At VCU, she helped lead the program to an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in 2021 and earned her USA Field Hockey Level 2 Coaching Certification.

Before joining Linden Hall in July 2022, Kathi served as the field hockey operations manager at Spooky Nook Sports. Her extensive experience at the collegiate and club levels makes her an invaluable mentor to student-athletes, fostering both skill development and a love for the game.
