The Linden Hall Archery Team finished at 11^th in the High School Division at the Pennsylvania State Finals.

While the Linden Hall archers will not advance to the Nationals, they did achieve a best-ever team score of 3,196. There 41 schools with 1,000 archers competing in the High School, Middle School and Elementary Divisions. The venue was very impressive with 200 archers shooting at 100 targets at one time.

The Linden Hall Archery Team is advancing to the Pennsylvania state finals, coach Tom Hayden announced Monday. This news follows the archery team's competition on Saturday, February 24, with nine schools at Lancaster Area Mennonite School in Lititz, achieving a school-best score of 3,177 out of 3,600. This was the last Pennsylvania State Final Qualifier of the season.

Among a total of 111 archers, Sarah Quiros took 3^rd place in the High School Division with a score of 285. Linden Hall Middle School archers took the awards for 1^st, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th place.

The NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) tournament will be on March 9 at Penn State Harrisburg.

"We are competing in the High School Division as a high school team," said coach Hayden. "which is no small feat considering that over half of the archers on our upper school team are actually middle schoolers." The team's assistant coach is Angi Hayden.

Middle School Team members are: Manasbi Bista (8), Sydney McMillin (8), Adel Mudrova (8), Rehema Karuri (8), Valentina Liu (8), Evelina Sentypal (7), Georgia (Demi) Uwechue (7), Raina Teter (6), Kelsey McMillin (6), Abigail McMillin (6), and Siran Rao (6)

In addition to the entire team qualifying for the PA State Finals, seven archers on Linden Hall Archery Team also qualified as individuals. Sixty female high school archers qualified for the state finals, with scores from 292 to 270. Sarah Quiros was number 10 in the state out of 60 with score of 285. Cathy Liu was number 47 in the state out of 60 with a score of 274.

Sixy female middle school archers also qualified for the state finals, with scores from 291 to 261.
