Music at Linden Hall
Music education has always been an important part of the curriculum at Linden Hall. With four choirs, two orchestral groups, and several small ensemble groups, the musical arts are richly expressed at Linden Hall. Over 75% of the Linden Hall students participate in the Music program. Of those, many students compete in regional and national competitions or sit on regional symphonies.
Linden Hall's Music Department has offered a variety of classes and independent lessons, including aurals and theory, music and culture, and technology in music. Private instruction with a professional instructor is offered on campus for instruments or for voice. Students have free access to practice rooms located throughout the school during the day and after school.
In addition to on-campus offerings, Linden Hall is a member of the PMEA, which offers educational events and on-stage experiences throughout the academic year.
