Dear Members of the Linden Hall School Community,
I write to let you know that I am retiring at the end of this fiscal year, June 30. This past December, I shared my plans with the Board’s Executive Committee and, shortly thereafter, I made this decision official.
I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to join and lead our exceptional school and to have played a role in providing our girls with an unparalleled education. It has been a privilege to work with and for many extraordinary individuals who do much to make Linden Hall the special place it is. I have enjoyed meeting with alumnae, hearing about their time at their alma mater, and finding meaningful ways to strengthen our connections to this special group.
Whether it’s attending a special event or weekly chapel, observing a well-taught lesson, sitting in the audience at a performance or on the sidelines at an athletic contest, doing a cheer with the students and adults at the beginning of assembly, listening to a heartfelt and inspirational student speech, or hosting an advisory dinner, each day has created special memories and affirmation that Linden Hall is a wonderful school community. My family and I have treasured being part of the Linden Hall community and will long remember our time here.
Leaving a school and profession that I love after 39 years is bittersweet, but I am ready to begin a new chapter. I leave Linden Hall confident that its future holds much potential and that our remarkable students will continue to shine and be well prepared to lead fulfilling, compassionate, and successful lives. I look forward to leading our school during these upcoming months, bringing this academic year to a successful conclusion, and celebrating the many accomplishments of our senior class.
