Linden Hall's campus houses facilities that are perfect for weddings, private parties, business meetings, conferences, and other special events. State-of-the-art classrooms equipped with the latest technology are perfect for trainings and business meetings. Our picturesque 49-acre campus can house both indoor and outdoor events.

Academic Classrooms

LGI/Lecture Hall

LGI/Lecture Hall
CAPACITY: 60

The Large Group Instruction room (LGI), or Lecture Hall, can be found on the bottom floor of the Evita M. Allen Center for Academic Excellence. Features include a Smart Podium, projector, white boards, and tiered seating with tables. Seating may be expanded with folding chairs. The LGI is an ideal location for conferences, workshops, and lectures. Use nearby classrooms for breakout sessions.

Board Room

Board Room
CAPACITY: 24–30

Found in the Evita M. Allen Center for Academic Excellence, the Board Room houses a table long enough to seat 24 people with an outlet for laptops and other devices at each seat. A podium, projector with HDMI, and conferencing abilities are available. Seating can be expanded with folding chairs. The Board Room is a fantastic place to hold meetings and conferences.

Lyet Family Gallery

Lyet Family Gallery
CAPACITY: approx. 50 seated, 80 standing

Located in the Steinman Arts & Science building, Lyet Gallery is the entrance to the Snavely Family Theatre. Student artwork is typically displayed year-round, creating a nice backdrop for small events. Tables and chairs available upon request. Lyet is the optimal venue for small parties, as well as a reception area for the theater.

Athletics Facilities

The Anne Brossman Sweigart (ABS) Sports & Fitness Center houses a standard sized gymnasium with fold out bleachers and basketball hoops. Home to the Linden Hall Lions Volleyball and Basketball teams, the gym is also used to host athletic competitions, fairs, and other large group events. On the second floor of the ABS Sports & Fitness Center there is a dance studio with sprung wood floors and mirrored walls, as well as a fitness room.

Mary Dixon Memorial Chapel

Mary Dixon Memorial Chapel
CAPACITY: 150

The historic Mary Dixon Memorial Chapel was built in 1885 and contains beautiful stained glass windows, a Hook & Hastings pipe organ, and a Baldwin Grand Piano. Main floor pews seat about 150, while risers in the organ loft can fit an additional 16 folding chairs. The sanctuary is located on the second floor. There is no sound system or A/C. Bathrooms and handicap accessibility located in the joining academic building. Perfect for weddings or small recitals.

Outdoor Areas

Fountain Courtyard
CAPACITY: 300

In the heart of campus, sits the Fountain Courtyard, nestled between the Academic Center and the dorms. The courtyard showcases a beautiful garden area centered around a fountain which can be colorfully lit at night. Statues of the Italian poets Tasso and Dante stand watch over the fountain. Tents may be erected on the nearby lawns. Sorry, we do not provide tents.

Alumnae Rock Garden
Behind Honeycutt Hall is one of Linden Hall's secret treasures. Sheltered by trees, the Rock Garden surrounds a small lily pond and short winding pathways. A favorite of students and alums alike, the Rock Garden has remained a place of quiet beauty for almost 50 years. Its paths, bubbling waterfall, and colorful wildflowers create an escape from everyday student life and have been a source of inspiration for generations of Linden Hall girls.
