Assistant Director of Advancement
The Assistant Director of Advancement at Linden Hall School for Girls is a key member of the Advancement team, supporting the school’s mission through relationship-building, strategic engagement efforts, and dynamic event planning. This role focuses on alumnae relations, parent engagement, special events, and annual giving, helping to grow philanthropic support and strengthen Linden Hall’s community across generations.
Working in collaboration with the Director of Advancement, the Assistant Director will plan and implement annual giving campaigns, oversee signature events such as the Annual Fall Fundraiser and Reunion Weekend, and serve as a primary liaison to both alumnae and current parents.
Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution

Plan and execute advancement-related events, including the Annual Fall Fundraiser, Alumnae Reunion Weekend, and donor stewardship and cultivation events.

Oversee volunteer committees, vendor management, timelines, and logistics.

Solicit sponsorships and auction items, and manage donor recognition for events.

Partner with Marketing & Communications to develop promotional content and ensure brand alignment.

Coordinate post-event follow-up, including communications, reporting, and stewardship.
Parent Engagement
-
Serve as the main point of contact for parent donors and volunteers within the Advancement Office.

Plan and lead parent-focused giving initiatives, including the Parent Giving Campaign and peer-to-peer solicitations.

Identify, recruit, and support Parent Giving Ambassadors by providing materials, training, and ongoing stewardship.

Develop and implement strategies to increase parent involvement in advancement efforts and school life.

Coordinate communications with current families to keep them informed and engaged.
Alumnae Relations
-
Serve as the primary liaison for Linden Hall alumnae, building lifelong relationships through personal outreach, digital communications, and targeted engagement strategies.

Coordinate alumnae events both on campus and regionally.

Support the Alumnae Association in planning initiatives and increasing alumnae involvement in fundraising and school programs.

Manage alumnae communications, including newsletters, class notes, milestone recognitions, and social media outreach.

Maintain and update alumnae records in the school’s database (Raiser’s Edge NXT).
Annual Giving
-
Assist in developing and executing annual giving strategies that broaden Linden Hall’s donor base and increase participation across constituencies.

Personally manage, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 25–50 mid-level gift prospects.

Support the creation of appeals via direct mail, email, and digital platforms.

Partner with volunteers and class agents to promote giving among alumnae, parents, faculty/staff, Trustees, and friends.

Track giving trends and donor data to inform campaign decisions and improve outcomes.

Assist in preparing grant proposals, stewardship reports, and presentation materials to support donor engagement and funding opportunities.

Co-manage the donor database to ensure accurate records, correspondence, gift acknowledgments, and donor communications.
Constituent Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with alumnae, parents, donors, and volunteers to foster a culture of philanthropy and connection.

Represent Linden Hall at school and community functions as needed.

Actively participate in the life of the school by attending events, supporting traditions, and engaging with students and colleagues to strengthen community connections.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in advancement, development, alumni relations, or parent engagement in a school or nonprofit setting.

Exceptional communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated event planning and project management experience.

Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate in a team environment.

Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid
Job Overview
Linden Hall is the oldest private boarding and day school for girls in the United States. The Linden Hall experience serves girls in grades 6–12, building leadership skills, fostering critical and independent thinking, encouraging a love for learning, and empowering students to excel.
Linden Hall seeks a dynamic and strategic Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid to support efforts to attract, recruit, and enroll a diverse and talented student body. This role works closely with the Director of Enrollment to develop innovative outreach strategies and cultivate strong relationships with prospective students, families, and high school counselors.
The ideal candidate brings a passion for education, strong public speaking skills, and experience in educational settings to drive enrollment growth and uphold Linden Hall’s mission of academic excellence. Responsibilities

Maintain consistent and responsive engagement with constituents, including inquiry calls and emails, interviews, on-campus and off-campus events and visits, and recruitment travel. Travel comprises approximately 25% of the role.

Represent Linden Hall professionally at school fairs, presentations, receptions, and conferences. Travel may include 3–6 weeks in the fall and 2–4 weeks in the spring. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.

Coordinate the Parent and Student Ambassador Program, including training, oversight, scheduling, evaluation, and long-term strategic planning.

Oversee planning and execution of on-campus and off-campus admissions events.

Participate in the review and evaluation of admission applications and financial aid materials.

Maintain international student visas as Linden Hall’s Principal Designated School Official (PDSO).

Experience and Qualifications

One to two years of related or transferable experience in K–12 or college admissions preferred; experience as a college tour guide or in a similar role is considered relevant.

Part-time Van Driver
We are seeking a responsible and dependable Part-Time Driver to join our small team of drivers. If you are looking for a consistent set of part-time schedules each week, this position will not be the best fit.
Transportation appointments are scheduled on an as-needed basis. An ideal candidate for this position will be a quick communicator, live in close proximity to Linden Hall School for Girls, and have flexibility in their schedule to drive at various times throughout the day.
Essential Duties:

Transportation trips are determined based on the needs and appointments of our students.

Most transports fall between the 7:30am–5:30pm timeframe on Monday–Friday, but drivers are expected to be flexible for potential night and weekend transportation needs.
Responsibilities:

Safely transport students to and from designated locations

Good communication skills; must be able to communicate well with parents and students

Follow designated routes and schedules

Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and company policies

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Assist passengers with boarding and unloading when necessary

School Counselor
Job Summary
Linden Hall is seeking a full-time School Counselor. The ideal candidate is a personable, organized mental health professional who can manage and coordinate the school’s mental health services program in alignment with school policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as local, state, and national regulations. This role also includes maintaining and operating the school clinic.
We welcome engaging applicants interested in working with both middle and upper school students. This position plays a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within a dynamic boarding and day school environment.
Duties

Meet daily with students.

Coordinate appointments and off-campus care for students.

Support compliance with special education laws and processes, including developing, managing, and monitoring IEPs.

Review and summarize psycho-educational evaluations for students and for Admissions, as needed.

Collaborate with faculty, families, and private contractors to support students with specialized learning needs, including advanced learners.

Assist with advisory planning in coordination with the Director of Student Affairs.

Support the Director of Academic Affairs in reviewing and implementing student accommodations.

Actively participate in weekly student support meetings.

Co-teach Health and Wellness classes as needed.
