Elevating Linden Hall at the US Open

Last weekend, Mrs. Landis and Dr. Carter traveled to the 2026 US Open in New York to celebrate Mrs. Landis’s 2026 USTA 35x35 President’s Impact Award!

As part of the celebration, they joined fellow award recipients for Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, enjoyed the President’s Suite, watched the Savannah Bananas put a tennis twist on baseball, and saw the world’s top players — including Women’s No. 1-ranked Aryna Sabalenka — in action during practice.

Convocation 2026

Yesterday afternoon, we officially opened the 2026–2027 school year with Convocation & Lotus Walk, bringing the Linden Hall community together for a celebration of new beginnings.

Convocation featured inspiring musical performances and speeches from students, senior class mentors, Dr. Carter, and others, along with our cherished flag ceremony that celebrated the rich diversity of our international student body.

Denny Foreman Given Inaugural Positive Impact Award

We are thrilled to announce Mr. Denny Foreman as the inaugural recipient of our Faculty & Staff Positive Impact Award! This recognition was created to honor a faculty or staff member who exemplifies stewardship of community and belonging, extraordinary dedication beyond their role, transformational impact on students, exemplary professionalism, and an enduring legacy of service.

During his 25 years at Linden Hall, few have embodied those qualities more than Mr. Foreman. Regarding his award, he noted, “I am immensely humbled to receive this award. The reason I’ve been at Linden Hall for so long is my colleagues – they are all so wonderful. Being given this honor is very humbling indeed, as there are so many deserving co-workers here.”

As a special show of gratitude, Mr. Foreman was gifted with a custom wooden chair that recognizes his service to Linden Hall. Congratulations, Mr. Foreman, and thank you for all you do for our school!

On Friday, May 22, the Linden Hall community gathered to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2026 and honor a remarkable group of young women whose leadership, perseverance, and accomplishments have made a lasting impact on our community.

Commencement featured remarks from Class President Avalyn ’26, a meaningful address from commencement speaker Ms. El Corlett, and the presentation of the Linden Hall Medal by Head of School Dr. Shauna Carter to graduating senior Andrianna.
