Renaissance Faires

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is our favorite faire, though we have also been known to show up at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, the Sterling Renaissance Festival, the New York Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, the New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom, and King Richard's Faire.

General information about renaissance faires can be found at Renaissance Faire Information, and The Renaissance Lady.

Please also take a look at the Renaissance Man for a very entertaining one-man show that's actually educational as well as funny.

Celtic Music and Bawdy Ballads

Some of our favorite musicians are from the Faire, and we would love to send you to their pages. Go check out Empty Hats, the Arcona Reel Band, Clannamore, Pyrates Royale, and Women of Whimsey (formerly part of Bawdy Balladeers).

There are also several sites that catalog several medieval and renaissance bands. Take a look at The Internet Renaissance Band, Chivalry Music, and The Royal Chessmen.
