Building confidence and character through the arts
Spacious and well-equipped studios offer the perfect setting for students to immerse themselves in the creative process. Introductory classes provide a strong foundation in a variety of media including drawing, painting, print-making, photography wearable art, ceramics, and artist’s book development, while advanced classes stress self-expression and the development of personal themes. Student –led clubs expand the opportunities for creativity.
Many students assemble portfolios for college applications and the AP Exams in disciplines like Studio Art and Photography. Our students’ artwork consistently wins recognition in various regional and national competitions. In addition to our in-class and club offerings, students in art classes at Linden Hall have the opportunity to visit local and regional art exhibitions and museums, meet visiting artists, and show their work in both the student gallery on campus and in partner galleries in local community.
Photography
Linden Hall offers an exceptional photography program. Students can participate in traditional black and white photography, digital photography, and specialized photography clubs.
Students achieve top honors in the visual arts. Students see works on display around campus every day. Through the Arts Night event, students share their work with the community. |
