A Message from the President

Dear Sisters,

I am honored to be the President of the Alumnae Association of Linden Hall. From the first time that I walked on campus as a student in 1989, Linden Hall became part of me. To serve this school so many years later and help it grow in its mission while connecting with you is truly a joy!

We all have our “Linden Hall story” and know the impact that this school has made in our life. For 270 years, the school has been contributing to the lives of successful women throughout the world. We are in every profession, achieving the highest accolades and changing lives. Furthermore, we are a supportive network of women. Our enduring friendships have helped us navigate every obstacle.

The Alumnae Association of Linden Hall is has been in existence to support the mission of Linden Hall since 1891. The Association works to manage the Brickenstein scholarship, promote Linden Hall, preserve the school’s history and facilitate ties to the school community and between its members. Over the course of the year, we will continue to work as an Association towards this mission.

Specifically over the next year, we as an organization want to help you and Linden Hall reconnect. Linden Hall is a place where girls are valued and known and it is also where Alumnae are valued and known! To that end we invite you to become involved in this Association. For those of you within driving distance of campus, please support the students, faculty and administrators by attending events on campus. Also consider sharing your professional expertise with the students at the school as they are seeking Alumnae mentors. Regardless of where you live, please keep in touch with Linden Hall by making sure the school has your updated contact information. Read the newsletters and Alumna Spotlights. Join the Alumnae Facebook and LinkedIn Pages. Come to Reunion in 2017! Host a Regional Alumnae Gathering. And most importantly, stay in touch with classmates. Be Linden Hall proud and consider a Linden Hall education for your daughter, granddaughter or tell you friends about this great school with a rich history in Lititz. Refer them to Linden Hall! Consider a gift to Linden Hall Fund. Each Linden Hall generation has a responsibility to continue the long legacy of which we are a part. Lastly, provide feedback to YOUR Alumnae Association. We are here for you!

I couldn’t be more proud of Linden Hall today. The students are exceptionally talented, the administration and faculty are dedicated to our school and mission and the alumnae have such a love for the school. I look forward to connecting with you of the next year!

In friendship,
Courtney Frankhouser Myers ‘93
Alumnae Association President
