An education in values
Linden Hall’s Character Development Program is designed to provide not just an education of value, but also an education in values. Throughout our rigorous academic programs and enriching co-curricular activities, the school strives to instill ideals that develop character in all the young women who attend Linden Hall.
The character-building principles that Linden Hall teaches and that students practice include:
Chapel
The chapel program encourages spiritual reflection with time to focus on issues that are bigger than oneself. Student speakers are an integral part of the program.
Community Service
Linden Hall’s community service program gives students the opportunity to help neighbors who are in need.
Sororities – Blue & White
Encouraging one another to be their best – in and out of the classroom – is what Linden Hall is all about. This encouragement is what makes the sense of sisterhood and teamwork so strong among students.
Statement of Community
Linden Hall’s honor code, supported by daily classroom discussions about ethics and social issues, serves as the guide for how each member of the school community should treat one another. |
