For out-of-state and Eastern PA families, we offer boarding school for the cost of day school. This is due to our location, not a reflection of our offering.

For Central PA families, our cost is up to 15% less than local independent day schools. Our value far outweighs competitive options (both public and private).

80% of our Science Department faculty hold PhDs (more
than 75% hold advanced degrees overall). Middle and upper school students study enriching coursework such as Astronomy, Forensic Science, and Art History.

Our internationally-rich campus represents 16 nations and 19 states. Our diverse student body and faculty help prepare girls for today’s global world.

Girls who attend single-sex schools outscore their co-ed counterparts on the SAT by an average of 28-43 points. Nearly 100% of girls’ school grads go on to college (and 100% of Linden Hall grads do!). Single-gender education
aids in academic and social development.

As a leading junior boarding school, we provide an environment in which young students can build self- confidence and try new experiences in addition to pursuing a rigorous course of study.

Our intensive counseling approach results in 100% acceptance to the finest schools (Ivy and Tier One). Families can expect an organized, personalized college counseling program in grades 9-12. Equal effort is provided to all students, not just top-ranked students.

Students in 11th and 12th grades benefit from our Concentrated Studies Program that allows students to focus on areas of academic interest and strengths. This approach better prepares students for post-graduate success and aids entry into Ivy or Tier One schools.
