Linden Hall’s mission is to simply provide the best all-girl learning and living experience in the nation. Through our signature 4C’s Promise, Linden Hall provides an experience that best prepares each student for success and leadership in college and the working world.

The 4C’s Promise

The 4C’s Promise is a commitment to help each girl attain excellence in Curriculum, Character, Culture, and Conditioning. The blending of these four tenets produces a learning experience that allows each student to discover her best and reach new heights through leadership opportunities.

Curriculum

Linden Hall is dedicated to providing multiple levels of curricular sophistication to ensure that each student is challenged by a course of study that is individualized just for her. Last year, Linden Hall developed two new AP courses, just for two students. Middle School and Upper School students are taught by the finest department faculty – guiding and preparing students for life at a four-year college and beyond.

Culture

Students experience a globally-focused environment with rich geographical and cultural variety. Our diverse student body represents international students from 13 nations and American students from 12 states. Everything Linden Hall has to offer – from the visual arts to the literary and performing arts, as well as travel opportunities – makes students lives more culturally enriched.

Character

Throughout our rigorous academic programs and enriching co-curricular activities, the school strives to instill ideals that develop character in all the young women who attend Linden Hall. The character-building principles that Linden Hall teaches and that students practice include a non-denominational chapel program, community service, sisterhood through sororities, and well being through athletics.

Statement of Community

Linden Hall’s honor code, supported by daily classroom discussions about ethics and social issues, serves as the guide for how each member of the school community should treat one another. And throughout these discussions and their overall school experiences, students learn to be a true leader in and out of the classroom.

Conditioning

To encourage life-long habits of health and wellness, students are exposed to an expansive program of athletics, equestrian, clubs and other organizations, nutrition and exercise. The teamwork and sportsmanship learned will be valuable well beyond their years at Linden Hall.
