Text Box: Real Confidence
Text Box: Real confidence comes not from boasting, but from listening and understanding. Real confidence comes not from taking all you can, but from giving the best you have.
Real confidence comes not from ignoring your fears. Rather, it comes from learning what those fears have to teach, and then moving ahead more fully prepared.
Real confidence brings with it a level of effectiveness that cannot be imitated. Real confidence has a momentum that is nearly impossible to deny.
Text Box: Real confidence comes not from trying to appear impressive. Real confidence comes from taking the actions that lead to truly impressive results.
A small achievement brings with it the confidence to take your efforts to the next level. And when that next level is reached, you'll gain the confidence to go even higher.
In this way, real confidence is built, one step at a time. Build some for yourself, and see how very far it can take you. -Ralph Marston
Text Box: We all know that clean snow is edible, snow is white when it falls, and snow generally comes during the cold months of winter. But have you ever stopped and pondered how big snowflakes can get? Or how snow can be a good insulator? Snowflakes, which are agglomerates of many snow crystals, are less than one-half inch across. However in near-freezing temperatures and light winds much larger and irregular flakes close to two inches across in the longest dimension can form.
Text Box: Though surprisingly cold, fresh, undisturbed snow can act as an insulator since the air trapped among the lattice structure of the accumulated snow crystals can barely move, heat transfer is greatly reduced. Lastly, snow is white because visible sunlight is white and snow, unlike most natural materials which absorb only some sunlight to give them their color, reflects most of the sunlight. Now that you know the facts, have a snowball fight!
